Residentials
Aireborough Supported Activities Scheme organise residential short breaks.
The first of these takes place in Spring and the last in Autumn.
We cater for children & young people aged 8 years to 18th birthday, who have additional needs.
This includes: learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and more.
Places are available to children throughout Leeds who don't currently receive overnight respite / short breaks.
We have highly experienced leaders who are fully DBS checked and trusted members of our team.
They care for the children 24 hours per day, help with feeding, bathing and also sleep in the bedrooms
with the children for their safety and security.
We cater for children with medical needs, special dietary requirements, challenging behaviours and more,
and we do whatever we can to make each residential a positive and fun experience for every child.
We also do everything we can to support the parents, as we understand that it can be nerve-wrecking to
have your child stay away from home and in someone else's care.

We cater for up to 16 children per residential.
Most residentials are for 2 nights, usually Friday to Sunday.
We use outdoor activity centres for our residentials, Lineham Farm in Leeds and Low Mill, North Yorkshire.
Whilst on residential, depending on the venue, we do a variety of activities such as: animal care, art, adapted bikes, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, archery and much more.
If you would like to discuss your child accessing our scheme, or you know a family who would, then contact us for more information.
